Doughnut Judge Me

Is there anything better than a delicious doughnut? Yes, a vegan one! Doughnut judge me.

Since turning plant-based I have struggled to find a decent doughnut. Yes, there are a few raw ones made from nuts and dried fruit, and a few other healthy ones out there but they haven’t quite hit the spot.

Crosstown is a notoriously good sourdough doughnut joint, and when I stumbled upon their exclusively vegan shop in Marylebone (why did no one tell me about this place?!) I just had to try one. The sourdough is made using plant-based alternatives such as chia seeds, coconut butter and dairy-free milks, making them taste just like the real deal.

I chose the Lemon-Thyme with a beetroot sourdough, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! But enough about doughnuts, let’s talk about the outfit.

Today I was wearing this long Lacoste* polo dress in navy. I love how this style is unique from the classic polo design by being slightly longer, with buttons running from top to bottom on both the front and back. I kept the bottom few buttons undone to create a split, and I kept the look sporty but chic with adidas Superstars* and a Mulberry Lily* bag. For accessories I wore cat-eye Versace* sunglasses, small asos* gold hoops, and a rose gold Daniel Wellington* watch.

Oh, and the tan is all thanks to Vita Liberata*, but don’t tell anyone because I’ve been sticking to a story about being in the Caribbean or something like that.

Anyway, moral of the story is go and get yourself a vegan doughnut. They’re good.
