Chic Christmas Jumpers
Has anyone else received an invite for a Christmas party where the dress code reads ‘Christmas Jumpers’? I love the idea, and it does get me in the festive spirit thinking about everyone wearing a Christmas jumper, however I do find myself feeling a little disappointed that I can’t dress up and look glam for this time of the year.
That’s when I realised Christmas jumpers don’t have to always be tacky. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE a good Rudolph sweater or an elf jumper, but when the occasion is a friends dinner party or a work event, you want to also look good, right!
And you most definitely don’t want to be THAT person that turns up without anything festive whatsoever. Bah Humbug!
I have found a selection of my favourite chic Christmas jumpers. Yes, there is such a thing. I have worn them with the same outfit each time – wide leg blue jeans and subtle gold jewellery.

- Next* Christmas Mistletoe Jumper
An affordable, navy jumper with pretty mistletoe details and embellished with beads. Perfect for a festive dinner party.
2. Reserved Metallic Jumper
This is the most subdued option of them all. It’s a grey metallic roll neck, that I thought would be perfect for a Christmas lunch or dinner with friends. I am thinking of even wearing this on Christmas day! Tip – even better when worn with a santa hat. Just saying.
3. French Connection* Zodiac Embellished Top
This embellished black and silver top is the most glam of all of them. I would wear this to a work Christmas party, tucked into a midi skirt and worn with heels. You’re ticking all the boxes of the ‘Christmas Jumper’ theme, but will look by far the chicest. Don’t judge me if I wear this one all year round.
4. Ted Baker* Sky Rocket Sweatshirt
This sweatshirt is from the Colour by Numbers collection at Ted Baker. It’s the most casual one, so I would wear this to a daytime event or lunch with the girls.
